I saw this on the recent HBO documentary about Warren Buffett and thought there’s no better way for a CEO/chairman/president to start a testimony before congress, and it’s what every citizen would like to hear regarding accountability and ethics.

Just watched the documentary. I didn't realize he was such a savant. The brief clips I've watched before make him seem folksy and well-rounded, but it sounds like that folksiness is just 5% of the man. This sounds worse than I mean it. He and Susie were perfect for each other and he and Charlie are perfect for each other. It's like a miraculous confluence of interest, talent, determination and flexibility.
This is what kind of country we used to be. In the era of Donald Trump and his poisonous, devastating influence, this video seems like it is from another planet.
Easy to point a finger at the person in charge now, but this poisonous devastation has been snowballing for at least fifty years. It's just easier to spot these days. And it's something we've been contributing to because we allow it to happen
