MUST WATCH: after @JT_Morgan12 HR. WATCH UMP. So he couldn't see it to touch and get called out? #Playoffs #txhsbsb pic.twitter.com/vlsy6xrNpG

The footage appears to show the first base umpire running over toward home plate as the batter, J.T. Morgan, is rounding the bases. The ump clearly kicks dirt over the base, completely covering it. When Morgan comes home, he realizes home plate is not visable, and even shrugs before he kicks away the dirt and steps on the base. The first base ump waits near home until Morgan touches home plate before running back to his position. Had Morgan not touched the plate and ran back to the dugout, he would have been ruled out and his home run wouldn’t have counted.
