Most of my readers live out of the DFW area or out of state. A lot of them used to live in the area. I used to be concerned about posting local news, but those that have moved away often tell me they love those posts because they are able to get an idea of what’s going on around here.
One of the worst and one of the best questions one can ask, “How are you doing?” That was written by a church friend who wrote a thoughtful piece on the anniversary of his wife’s death. He started to date several months after losing his wife of 37-years and stated this about his girlfriend, “She was not a rebound but a gift. She has borne my tears and sorrows and listened to me talk about Michele many times a week over the last 10 months – she appreciates that Michele is part of my past, my present and yes, even my future. There is no real moving on without Michele, there is just taking that part of my past and carrying it forward, into what we call a “new Book” – but what is really a sequel. “
Google will pay Arizona drivers $20 per hour to test self-driving cars – Employees will receive $20 per hour and work under 12-24 month contracts driving vehicles from six to eight hours per day, while providing “concise written and oral feedback to the engineering team.” Drivers are required to have a bachelor’s degree, a clean driving record and criminal history, and the ability to type at least 40 words per minute.

That’s two calls an hour, every hour, every day.
I'm a little sad about the Muppets – it started off poorly, but I felt like it was headed in the right direction after the showrunner change at midseason.
I'm seriously bummed about Agent Carter, though. That was a heck of a short series, and perfectly filled the gap between Agents of SHIELD's half seasons.
ABC also cancelled Galavant, which I expected, but it was a fun little show.
Those Disneyland Food Rankings are flawed, because the author failed to get the corn dog from the Little Red Wagon at the end of Main Street. The hand-dipped corn dogs from that cart are the best you'll ever have in your life. Guaranteed. At least they got the Dole Whip right.
Artificial-intelligence lawyers? I'd be happy if I could just run into a few opposing counsel who had human intelligence. Let's start there.
I hate that The Muppets got cancelled. It was a really smart reimagining of them. Hopefully they get picked up by someone else. Netflix? Amazon?
Ken Paxton is just another crook in sheep's clothing.
