Until yesterday, I wasn’t aware Robin Wright was in the new Wonder Woman movie which will be released in June 2017. She’ll play the part of Wonder Woman’s military aunt. After seeing what Wright brought to the Claire Underwood character in ‘House of Cards’, I’m pretty darn interested to see her role in this new movie. I’m also highly impressed at how fit the soon to be 50-year-old actress is.
Today’s dose of ‘MURICA! – The Atlanta Braves will be serving something called the Burgerizza at their ballpark – a grilled 20-ounce beef patty, covered with five slices of cheddar cheese, topped with crispy bacon, and served between two 8-inch pepperoni pizzas.
Jaguar is going to resurrect the exceptionally cool looking roadster, the XKSS, which debuted in 1955. Here’s a little trivia on the car – “In total, just 16 cars were produced, sold mainly in the United States. The most famous owner was Steve McQueen, who bought a secondhand XKSS, sold it to casino owner William Harrah, and then paid him double the initial amount to get it back a few years later.”
Here’s something I’ve always wondered about lawyers. If they were presented with the opportunity to argue before the U.S. Supreme Court, would they do it? For a lawyer, would that be the ultimate experience? I’m guessing it depends on the lawyer. Every football player wants the chance to play in the Super Bowl, but every hiker doesn’t want to climb Mount Everest.
And to think I’ve eaten at the very first one built in Abilene – Taco Bueno ranks as Americans’ favorite Mexican chain, according to Market Force Information’s annual quick service restaurant study. It beat out restaurants like Chipotle and Qdoba, which tied for first last year, as well as Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill and El Pollo Loco.
Thanks for the shout out, but…….
