As many times Keith has been misspelled, this mug is calling out to me.
My current project is tiling the laundry room. So far the baseboards are removed and I’m working on getting that stingy linoleum off the floor.
I’ve had at least three concussions in my life, two of which I remember.
Gosh darn it to heck, I’m enjoying ‘The X-Files’.
While watching ‘CBS Sunday Morning’ I learned that Japan has a toilet museum and on display is General Douglas MacArthur’s very worn toilet, which you can see in this Washington Post article.
The name behind Reunion Tower (and the former arena) from Wikipedia – La Réunion was a utopian socialist community formed in 1855 by French, Belgian, and Swiss colonists near the forks of the Trinity River in the U.S. state of Texas. The Reunion Tower in downtown Dallas is about three miles east of the colony site. The founders of the community were inspired by the utopian thought of the French philosopher François Marie Charles Fourier.
Not sure what makes most of those 15 places "surreal." Perhaps if the list was renamed to "15 Places in Texas You Need to Visit if You're a Landscape Photographer," it might be more accurate.
If the area to be tiled is small, consider looking at Travertine stone. Often, you can find a great deal on it, especially if they are closing it out at a flooring company.
Travertine is one of those things that can really make a room or home "pop".
Good luck with your project!
Very interesting info about Reunion Tower. I never knew the story behind the name or about that settlement.
Been to all on that list but Devil’s River, and it’s on my list. When I hiked Santa Elena it was 104 degrees. The next day at Guadalupe Peak I got stuck o the mountain in a hail storm and nearly froze, and the day after that in Seminole Canyon it was 103. That was a wild tripod you hike West Texas in July, take extra water and extra layers.

Keith, small suggestion…

RE: Mug
They left off "weigh, weight" and this list:

Looks like about 2/3 of the list is in the hill country. It's a beautiful place.
I love the Alamo Drafthouse, San Antonio is so lucky to have 3.
