Is it just me or is this a concept that requires a little suspension of reality or at least a turning back of time? In theory, Apollo died in 1985, so that would make his son a minimum of 30 years old. 1. That guy doesn't look 30 years old (The actor is 18). 2. 30 would be a little old for a guy to enter the boxing world.
Per Wikipedia, Michael B Jordan is 28 years old, not 18, but I do agree there has to be some suspension of belief unless part of the storyline is that he got into boxing late in his life. If I was writing the script, I'd make it even crazier, very wheels off, writing that Apollo had some of his stuff frozen and years after his death his wife decided to make a withdrawal from the bank.
Yeah, I'm not sure how I messed up on his age. The only way this story line could succeed is if they had the spawn of Apollo fight Drago in the grudge match to end all grudge matches.
How about a time machine like in the terminator? Rocky from the future goes back in time to fight Rocky from the past?
