Those hackers really have Sony on their knees, and I’m surprised they are caving in.
I’m hearing good things about Syfy’s new series ‘Ascension’.
Man, that Giselle Bundchen Channel No 5 commercial is on all the time, and seeing her fake crying sad face grows old quickly.
After following the adorable Anna Kendrick on Twitter and watching her on Letterman last night, one thing is for sure, she’s a of delightful perv.
I have a feeling airline stocks are going to be a good investment for the next year. With the decrease in the price of fuel and them not willing to roll back on fares, and with customers saving at the pumps and more willing to traveling with the savings, that industry should profit heavily. The most affordable “recognized” airline stock I could find was Jet Blue (JBLU) which is trading around $14.44.
The Elf on the Shelf hack to help get him in the right pose. Basically, stick wires in him, as if you are a CIA agent trying to get vital information on him.
Scientists from the Open Worm Project have successfully mapped the connections of all 302 neurons in a roundworm’s brain and simulated them as a piece of computer software, and then uploaded that software to a LEGO robot. Article with Video

Usually Letter doesn’t hold his Christmas show until right until the 23rd, but this year it will be on Friday. I’ve been a sucker for the annual Jay Thomas retelling of the Lone Ranger story, throwing a football at a meatball on top of a Christmas tree, and especially hearing Darlene Love sing “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)”. Here’s an article that talks a bit about the history of these traditions, and here’s a nice compilation of Love singing on the show. Gosh, her singing that song just gets me all jazzed up for Christmas.
I'd be careful with JetBlue. I pretty sure they can offer low fares because their payments on their planes were deferred for several years. When those payments start coming due, look for them to have to jack up fares and have lower revenues.
I recently flew Interjet into and out of Mexico. Honestly, that was one of the best flying experiences I've ever had. Probably the best since 9/11. Can't find out of they have had their IPO yet (don't think they have), but when they do, I'm jumping on it. I'm a huge fan (although I wish they would stop buying Russian planes).
