I bet Jeff Bezoz thinks the new Amazon mobile phone is some kind of game changer.
I’ve never had an ingrown nail and I’m surprised that people actually get them.
The Granada Theater came up with a good idea. They are showing some films of the 90’s and will have an additional screen where you can see everyone’s tweets.
I finished the second season of ‘Orange is The New Black’ and felt the season finale was a bit like the ‘Fargo’ finale, too satisfying.
The new season of ‘Rectify’ starts today. Since it’s on the Sundance channel, I actually had to look up the channel number. For you fellow DirecTV subscribers, that’s channel 557; and unfortunately, it’s not in HD.
The state income tax of Texas is the summer electric bill. I actually stole that line from a Reddit post.
I have decent amount of Wise County followers, so here’s a little history lesson for you. Wise County is named after Henry A. Wise, who was a Jeffersonian Democrat, former governor of Virginia, fought in a duel for a seat in Congress, and supported the annexation of Texas.
Denton County is named after John B. Denton, a Methodist Episcopal Church minister, lawyer, soldier, and political candidate.
Dick Cheney and his daughter started a new organization and in their announcement video, the former V.P. decided to wear a cowboy hat for some reason. The lighting on their faces and the way the background looks makes me think they filmed it in front of a green screen.
‘The Dana Carvey Show‘ only lasted seven episodes back in 1996 but had one heck of a writing and acting cast that included Louis C.K., Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, and Robert Smigel.
Richard Durrett, former DMN and ESPNDallas.com sports writer, dies at 38 – He leaves behind a wife and two young children. As a 38-year-old man with a wife and two young children, this news is a big reality check. The story was actually on front page of CBS News website, so I wonder what he would have thought about that.
waitaminnit. Progressives didn't oppose oppose the Iraq war based on the assertion that you can't force freedom on people. My recollection is that there was concern that the administration (bush, cheney, rumsfeld – remember them?) might have told a stretcher when they declared that Iraq:
1. Had ties to Al Queda and
2. Had weapons of mass destruction
Oh…and all this in spite of Candidate Bush's declaration that he wouldn't jump into war – that he would only engage if there was a well-defined exit strategy. http://www.debates.org/?page=october-17-2000-deba…
The Alamo Drafthouse does that with some of their features. They call it HeckleVision. It's the only time cell phones are allowed out during the show. They've done it with Urban Legend, Swimfan, and the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

…turns out they *did* tell some stretchers
I wasn't certain Bush actually stated that there was a link, but the Washington Post confirms it: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A50…

Fibbers all around, methinks.
