I may need to watch more Mavs and Stars as they can give me something the Cowboys can’t, a playoff win.
Super Bowl winning quarterback Russell Wilson is filing for divorce. I knew the marriage wouldn’t last the first time I saw her, the day Wilson was drafted. Seriously, just watch this clip and look at the blonde girl on the left side of the screen and tell me that’s not the face of a psycho, especially at the 21-second mark. Granted, I have no idea why they are getting a divorce, but since I’m a guy I’m just going to side with Team Russell.
There was a time when people were making fun of Kevin Durant because he couldn’t bench 185 pounds at the NBA combine. Yet I kept on thinking, why does bench press matter for an NBA player? You can totally screw a players shot up focusing on the bench press. Well, I guess he’s having the last laugh.
DaughterGeeding can’t make it through Frozen without crying or being scared but she’s able to watch The Avengers without a problem. I’ll never understand females, young or not-so-young.
I sure hope no one comes to GeedingManor and shines a black light anywhere because there’s bodily fluids all over the place. BoyGeeding has started potty training and it’s a wee bit more challenging than it was with GirlGeeding.
While watching ‘The Americans’ last night I thought there was a ‘True Detective’ Russ Cole sighting. But something else did get my attention, a teenage-girl gave the church she’s been recently visiting $600 and the church didn’t consider informing the parents. That amount of money doesn’t sound like a whole lot, but I plugged that figure into the inflation calculator and that comes to $1469 today. I’m thinking if my teen gave a church that amount of money, that the church would contact me to make sure I was aware of such a contribution before accepting it.
You can now take a luxury bus ride from Dallas to Austin for $100 one-way. The company mentions the three hour drive is the same as a flight once you factor in parking and security, and there’s a conference room, comfy leather chairs, Wi-Fi, satellite radio, television, refreshments, and a steward in a bus that only holds 16. I have feeling that company isn’t for a high-speed rail system in Texas.
