At DaughterGeeding’s Christmas play a sheep got loose which made me think of the lost sheep parable. It was all fun and games until the adult chasing the sheep didn’t see the drop off of the alter and fell hard twisting her ankle.
Everytime we shop at Target as of late they keep pushing a special card at us during checkout. Basically the card is tied directly to your bank account which saves them a transaction fee and the customer would receive 5% off every purchase. I have a feeling with the recent security breach of customer transaction data that’s going to be a tougher sale to customers, even though that breach could have happened to any store.
I’ve been thinking more about the partnership between The Dallas Morning News and KXAS. The paper is obviously based in Dallas but KXAS is based in Fort Worth, so news coverage should be improved and the paper is creeps more into the Fort Worth Star Telegram’s territory.
As a South African, I wonder how upset Laura Logan was at not being able to cover any of the Nelson Mandela news since she was suspended over that ’60 Minutes’ fiasco.
John Stewart sure did send John Oliver away with class last night.
I couldn’t agree more with my friend Barry (at least I think we’re friends) that A&E’s actions regarding the ‘Duck Dynasty’ fiasco is a publicity stunt. But I have a feeling they wouldn’t have done anything if he didn’t say he never saw a black person mistreated in the South.
I know many Christians consider homosexuality a sin, that’s nothing new, but I wonder how many actually think it’s akin to bestiality. If their argument is all sin is equal in God’s eyes, then it’s certainly not true in man’s eyes as lying is much different than murder.
Is it redundant to say “gays and homosexuals”? I think it is.
The day Google had to start over on Android – Google was building a secret mobile product to fend off chief rival Microsoft. Then Apple announced the iPhone, and everything changed.
KXAS isn't KXAS any more. It's some bunch of strangers they have forced on us as a minor league team for NBC. The last link to the old station is David Finfrock and they keep him locked away until time to film promos.
I predict major on-air changes at WFAA in the not too distant future as well.
