I’m taking the rest of this week and all of next week off of work but have nowhere to go, we’re on a budget and the kids are a handful at this age to take somewhere. The plan is to do a lot of things I always wanted to do around the house but have never gotten around to. The reality is that I’ll probably lose motivation and veg out.
I finally got around to using a paint gun with my air compressor. Overall I think I did an okay job applying primer, but I probably over cleaned my spray gun, which may have not been a bad thing.
I don’t see any Snorg t-shirt advertisements anymore. They had that one girl model that was all over the place, she was at every corner of the Internet.
How States Stack Up in Generosity – Texas comes in at 13 behind such states I would think we would beat, such as Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama.
Watching ‘Hard Knocks’ last night, I was surprised that Mike Zimmer still keeps a house in Dallas. And retired former Cowboy Gregg Ellis also got a lot of air time.
I had some blood work done in April. In July, I got a bill from the lab that processed my samples for $164. One of the dozens of test was denied payment by my insurance company. I called the insurance company, they told me the payment for that test was denied because it was a duplicate charge. There were no other charges on the bill for $164, but, there was another test with the same procedure code, but a different description, with a charge of $163.75.(I'm not joking) The rep. told me he thought it should have been paid and set it up to be reprocessed for payment. I got a notice that the $164 was paid, but the insurance company, with all their UCR values and such, only paid them $8.47.(I'm not kidding) So they lab was charging me $164 for a blood test that ultimately they were reimbursed for less than $10, and we are all good.
