I guess I just like living in the past, I prefer the Cowboys to stay at Valley Ranch and to play at Texas Stadium or the Cotton Bowl.
The Cowboys’ new domed practice field will be shared with Frisco ISD, making them the only school to utilize a dome for home football games. In my hometown of Mineral Wells, we had a dome for our basketball court, it was known as the Ramdome. It use to be tradition for the senior class to scale the dome one night and paint it with the numbers of their graduating year.
The City of Irving says they tried to persuade the Cowboys to stay, but their efforts sure were quiet when the Cowboys left Texas Stadium and they didn’t seem very vocal in trying to keep them at Valley Ranch.
I wonder if the Cowboys will have the furthest distance between practice facility and stadium than any other NFL franchise. GoogleMaps tracks the distance a little more than 42 miles.

Like you, I just binge watched seasons 3-5a of Breaking Bad to get caught up, and now I don't want to wait! I did the same thing with Mad Men, though, and somehow survived that, so I guess it will be okay…..
Thanks for all the Breaking Bad links/stories, too!
" ◾The NCAA is a big joke and have proven so over the years with how they handle penalties. I have a feeling Manziel will only get a hand slap."
This Manziel investigation may just flip the NCAA over on itself. A growing number of sports writers and radio flacks are arguing that the Manziel scandal will eventually result in college athletes receiving salaries, er, I mean "stipends". The five biggest football conferences are pushing that now, while the smaller ones are dead-set against it. There is no way the little conferences could match the payrolls the big five BCS conferences could meet. The big five are hinting that they might leave the NCAA and form their own association. If Manziel is banned for a significant part of the season and/or the O'Bannon class action case goes against the NCAA, I think we can look toward the professionalization of amateur college sports within a year. Once college athletes are allowed to receive money there is no telling what college football will look like or if there is even a point to smaller schools having teams.

I believe UT also collects more oil royalties than any other school.
