Town & Country magazine started a new annual list ranking American families into the following categories:

• Most Inspiring -Late Gov Ann Richards family makes the list as do the Mannings.
• Most Generous – No surprise the Gates come in number one and you’ll see a picture of Mineral Wells resident Alice Walton.  Oh, and that darn Jones family of Dallas that doesn’t know how to fire its General Manager is on the list.
• Most Enduring –  Huh, I thought Rockefeller was just the name of a building for a sitcom I liked.
• Most Creative – This is where The Dude makes an appearance as well as a cast member of ‘Parks and Rec’.
• Most Powerful – No question the Bush family is tops on this list.

I was surprised the Perot, Romney, and Osmond family didn’t make it on any list.  There probably should have been a separate category for sports families, with the Hicks family grabbing top honors for destroying sports franchises.
