I’m starting to not follow breaking news and just play catch up later. For instance it sounded like the Texas Lottery was officially put to pasture, and then it’s back again. I didn’t follow the story close at all yesterday, but there seemed to be a lot of knee jerk reactions.

As much as a non-Baylor fan as I am, I don’t think the press has been properly covering how the university has been helping with the West tragedy. I’m also a bit curious how President Obama will be welcomed on campus. This will mean the past two administrations have visited the campus, which has to be a pretty big straw in their cap.

I was watching the Bio channel last night on Jeff Dunham. I’ve never seen any of his performances but I’m certainly aware of him. What I didn’t know was that he’s a Dallas native and the show aired an interview of him being interviewed by then WFAA reporter Bill O’Reilly.
WFAA’s front page had yet another JFK assassination related article yesterday. I get it’s going to be the 50th anniversary of the event, but that’s in November. Seriously. can they just leave the presidential assassination stuff alone for at least this week?
My grandmother died 26-years ago yesterday.
