Bag of Randomness

  • I watched Lindsay Lohan on Letterman last night and I don’t know what to think.  Dave has become kinder in his later years, but he can still make an interview feel like a roast, and at times that’s what it felt like.  For the most part, Lohan had a great attitude and was going along with things then she seemed a bit bipolar.  There were times I thought she was going to break down or walk off, and then she eventually teared up a bit.
  • Letterman also had a musician from Austin on the show and Letterman mentioned The Salt Lick barbecue place.
  • Harrison Ford will be on Letterman tonight, but Ford is usually a disappointment in these settings.
  • I got an email from a distant cousin that I’ve always admired last night.  His father grew up in Mineral Wells and always wanted to get out of the small town and move to California.  Well, now his son, after growing up in California and spending about a decade working in Vegas will be moving to Mineral Wells.  I don’t have much family, so it’s going to be nice have someone else around.
  • Years ago if I knew a pastor was having trouble in his marriage or was even going through a divorce, I had strong feelings regarding his active status as minister.  Now, I don’t know how I feel.
  • Yes, I only mentioned male pastors, but that’s because I only knew and accepted male pastors years ago, and I know some of you have strong feelings on both sides of that issue.
  • I’m not a Tom Grieve fan.

A prequel with Saul would be awesome. They could work in Hank, Mike and several other characters.

Don't be jealous that Chris Hadfield is Canadian, just enjoy that he's doing so much to educate people and especially youth about the wonders of space and space travel. He's amazing to follow on Twitter.

Oh my, that's such a funny pic of your little one! Does she know what she owes you 20 years from now? hahaha
