That's interesting and I guess in NYC you would be safe pulling a stunt like that. However, things could have turned out different if a CCW permit holder had encounter that scenario and promptly shot your "attacker".
I'm with Brad – I take a dim view of a lot of the current day pranks or 'punks'. There's enough crazy *stuff* going down that it's really tough to distinguish what's real and isn't. Besides, most of them aren't really very funny anyway.
