The No-Tipping-Pastor Got A Waitress Fired

WNhIP9C

Earlier this week I made a post regarding a pastor that was part of a large dining party and refused to tip, which spurned some conversation.  Today, a couple of loyal readers alerted me that the pastor in question contacted the restaurant and asked that the entire staff be fired.  While the whole staff wasn’t fired, one waitress was sent packing.

Here’s an updated article about the firing, and here’s an article that included an interview with that pastor who said, “My heart is really broken. I’ve brought embarrassment to my church and ministry.”

I’m not sure if it matters if the pastor is a black female of a congregation of 15, but I’m sure that’s gonna add some fuel to the fire for some reason.

"I’ve brought embarrassment to my church and ministry.” How about I've brought unemployment and hardship on an innocent worker thru my vanity?

As far as her race goes… I had assumed it was a white guy, not a black female.

I remember the segment on The Ticket a few years back where they quizzed some of the local watiers/waitresses and the Sunday Afternoon Church lunch crowd/Black Women were singled out as the customers that were the worst tippers.
