My girlfriend has a nephew that plays pee-wee football out toward Lubbock. He's gigantic. They have a weight requirement but it's not a minimum weight to play, it's a maximum weight to be a ball carrier. I thought it was an interesting move. As they move toward middle school the requirements become more relaxed but they try to make it so every kid can play if they want.
