The university in which I’ve obtained my undergraduate degree has me on some weird mailing lists. They once sent my dog an invitation to attend a children’s event. They keep telling me to update my contact information stating this is the fourth and last attempt, yet I know I’ve gotten about ten of these stating it’s their fourth time contacting me. Last year I got a letter from the head basketball coach asking me to donate to the basketball program because I’m a former player (I never played college ball). And yesterday I got an email from the basketball department if I would like to take part in an alumni basketball game among fellow former players.
Since the mention of PBS in last week’s presidential debate there’s been a lot of articles about The Learning Channel as of late. I didn’t know that it was started in 1972 as a non-profit with support from the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare and NASA. It later became privatized and has/had shows like “Trading Spaces”, “Jon and Kate Plus Eight”, “Hoarders”, “Toddlers and Tierras”, and “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo”.

LIFE has some nice young Mitt Romney pics: GROWING UP ROMNEY: MITT’S EARLY WORLD. I thought it was imperative for me to look at them, I need to get to know our future president better.
Holly Williams use to work for Sky News but is now a CBS News correspondent. Just weeks after giving birth, she went back to work and found herself in a jungle pumping breast milk. This quote caught my attention, “I was sitting in the back of a taxi with a breast pump. I was weeping and telling myself, ‘Don’t cry—that’s dehydrating.’”
You should definitely participate in the Alumni Basketball game
I agree, go play…and tell the other players that you don't remember them being on the team…
Bob Denver as not a Tech student. John Denver was, however.
You are telling me that Texas Tech has never had a student named Bob Denver? 😉 You got me, I confused the two.
Hardin-Simmons hail to thee…
