  • I’ve been proud of the folks in the DFW area that volunteered their time to welcome home the troops.  It’s especially touching when you see a Vietnam Vet, soldiers that didn’t’ get a welcome home, give what they deserved but never received.
  • Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich is about to start serving a 14-year sentence for corruption.  If their’s anyone I have any sympathy for regarding that whole mess, it’s his two young children.
  • I recently discovered that Claire Shipman of ABC News’ Good Morning America is married to the current White House Press Secretary.  And here’s another ABC News’ connection with the White House – UT grad Bianna Golodryga is married to Peter R. Orszag, the former budget director for the Obama Administration.  Yup, ABC News has some connections alright.

  • 10 Hours of Darth Vader Breathing [YouTube] – I think this can help me sleep at night, and that has to be one of the longest YouTube videos out there.  But this is still my favorite Darth Vader commercial.
