  • I’m off to Chicago this morning.  Hopefully I’ll run into Abe Froman at a local eating establishment.
  • The CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley had an interesting segment on presidential vacations.  After 31 months in office, Obama has taken 61 vacation days.  In that same point in their presidencies, George W. Bush took 180, and Reagan tallied 112 vacation days.  Of the modern presidents, Clinton took the least, with just 28 days of vacation.  Oddly enough, they didn’t report George H.W. Bush vacation days.
