If anyone thinks that there is no persecution of Christians in America, he or she need only read through some of the comments on the Salon.com page you linked to above – "Why do Christian movies suck?" Apparently, since I am an evangelical Christian, I have no sense of humor, do not understand irony, and I cannot think in any terms other than black or white. Basically, I think I'm being called an ignoramus. Ouch. Not as painful as being stoned or beaten, but still. I know a lot of "Christian" behavior has rightfully earned rebuke and criticism, but not all Christians need be lumped in together and viewed in such harsh terms.
