- Per the Dallas Morning News, cigarette sales make up 6% of 7-Eleven’s in-store sales.
- Yesterday I posted that Oklahoma lead the nation with most women in prison. I can see why that stat is so high when a mother gets ten years for $31 of pot.
- I remember getting one of those highly fabricated email forwards from a friend who happens to be uber-Republican when Navy SEALs rescued Captain Richard Phillips from Somali pirates. The email claimed that Obama wanted to have a peaceful negotiation with the pirates and comes from an “inside source.” Now that two yachting Christians who’s mission was to give away free Bibles are now slained by Somali pirates, there’s no telling what kind of email forward I’m going to get in my inbox.
- Manly Diet Dr Pepper?
- The loudest house cat has a purr as loud as a 737
- There’s a new Mr Peanut car
- Mom puts son on Tampa street corner to tell of poor grades
- Talk about a tiny, tiny aquarium
I received several of those "Navy Seal" emails following the successful rescue of Captain Phillips. The gist was that the rescue was actually a failure in the eyes of the anonymous "Seal", who was present during the rescue, and that I should pass the email on to as many people as possible. Some people will not just give it a rest.
