Seriously, it’s never been and I’ve never been so cold in my life.
For the heck of it I stood outside in shorts and a t-shirt for several minutes just to see what it would feel like in below-zero windchill. Verdict – it wasn’t as bad as I thought.
I was listening to the Ticket interview Earl Campbell when WifeGeding walks by and informs me that he’s actually been to her house.
WifeGeeding informed me that he is named after the doctor that delivered him.
I miss having the Houston Oilers around even though I was never a fan. There was something about those baby blues and that oil derrick on the helmet that just seemed right.
WifeGeeding was reading one of her friend’s Facebook post that made me laugh, “My son just named one of his cars, Bono. I have done my work. :-)”
I refuse to watch Super Bowl commercials before the actual Super Bowl.
I was reading Ed Bark’s blog and he thinks North Texas doesn’t stand a chance for another Super Bowl because of the weather. I totally disagree. The Super Bowl attendance record is about to be shattered, that’s enough to bring it back. And regarding the weather, come on. It may get icy from time to time, but it’s never been this bad for this long.
In watching all the Egyptian protests I notice a lot of signs written in English, which makes me think they really want to communicate with the West.
If the streets aren’t terrible, I might just go to the Peter King tweetup.
