Keith, I am so sorry. I know how much he meant to you. Part of the family, friend, comforter. You made a beautiful tribute to a wonderful dog, who was the definition of "man's best friend". Hug on Oreo and know you shared your life and love with one of God's great gifts… Hugs from me.
I'm so sorry. What a special dog. I loved the tribute but my two favorites were 1. on the couch with the remote-hilarious; 2. YOUR long hair-I wasn't expecting it.
I am sorry for your loss. Being a dog person, I totally get it. I have 3 wonderful puppies, the oldest is 7 1/2, yet for several years I have worried about the time when he is no longer with us. I have no idea how I will handle it.
A beautiful tribute to "your boy"! I feel your pain…..have been there. I also share your love for man's best friend and the dear time you two spent together. A special person for a special pet.
Sorry for your loss. It was a beautiful tribute and reflection of how much you cared for DogGeeding. His life may be over, but clearly you gave him what matters most to all dogs….Love. How fortunate he was to be adopted by the Geeding family. May he rest in peace.
God I am so sorry Keith. I know how badly this hurts, and that alot of people around you just won't understand. But alot of us do understand, and feel for you in this. God Bless his heart, and God Bless you and your little family. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this.
Sometimes the kinder thing to do is let them go. I do know how much it hurts though, I've been in your shoes. Saying good-bye to a furry family member is never easy. God bless you and your family.
Keith, my thoughts are with you and your family – so sorry for your loss. It looks like Tuna had a great life with you and you've made a wonderful tribute to him. Greetings from Germany, Kate
Keith, I'm so sorry for your loss. He was a good friend and I know you loved him so much. I dread this day, and it's coming soon for us too. My prayers are with you.

RIP Tuna. One day he will pause from his everlasting play, sniff the air with growing excitement, and happily bound towards you as you rejoin him forever more.
As someone who just lost his dog two months ago, I sympathize. While I usually sign off with a "Thanks for (Bag of) Nothing" Keith, today I will echo what Tuna no doubt felt: Thanks for Everything.
My condolences! I've been through this more than a couple of times, including just this past November. It truly IS one of the kindest things you can do. And you gave him a wonderful second half of his life. Try to be consoled with your memories — especially the funny, quirky ones.
With sympathy,
(Canadian) Heather
sorry Keither. we put down our Mini-Schnauzer and family member of 12 yrs, our beloved Floppy. It was the hardest thing I've ever done. I cried for days. Only time will heal your loss. God Bless You and your dear canine.
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I've never had a pet that I've grown real close to but my sister has. I know the hurt goes deep. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
I have been what I believe is known as a lurker on Bagofnothing for a couple of years – not because I do not want to participate but because we live in a situation (deep in the mountains of Appalachia where we have little internet options available) that prvents me from viewing most of the contant. Today I am at a public library on my laptop and just viewed the tribute to Tuna, and I cried. Your heart is so big, and that is a gift that you share with each of yoreaders. Thank you.
I could not even bring myself to watch the video yet (but just reading the comments made me cry). I am so sorry for your loss and I hope that this poem brings you some comfort (as it will for me when I lose my precious girl):
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Sorry Geeding, nothing I can say can ever make it better. But this make me remember a Christian rock song from the mid 90's "Goldies Last Day". If you haven't heard it or seen the video, don't watch it, you will cry. Hang in there.
God Bless Tuna, you and your family. I know how hard it it so say good-bye to a loyal, precious dog. Your tribute to Tuna made me cry and give both of my big, hairy boys a hug and a treat!
Enter text right here! Keith so sorry for your loss I;ve been there several times never gets easier no matter how many times ,God bless Tuna as I know he went to Doggie Heaven.
Through the pain think of this, "what was Tuna here to teach me that only his death could show me?” Animals love unconditionaly and have so much to teach us humans. God bless.

What a beautiful tribute to Tuna! My two prior rescue dogs reached 14-15, the current one is middle aged, like me. Blessings on the Geeding household.
Sorry for your loss, Keith. That video brought a tear to my eye. Very touching.
