The dealership owner was sitting in his office, which was at street level and from his window the viewer could see a street with empty parking spots all across the front of the dealership. The dealership's "service center" garage was also nearly empty. Really sad when a small town loses one of its biggest and oldest employers. There's no good way to deal with a car manufacturer on the verge of failure. An economist referred to the "new" General Motors as merely "a life support system for retired UAW workers"
