Isn’t there a contradiction here that televangelists routinely preach that their interpretation of the bible requires viewers to contribute monies to them but when Oprah merely discusses her personal philosophy of theology she comes under organized attack. She paid for her time on the air and people who are in disagreement can easily reject them by using the channel changer.

Just because she paid for air time does not mean she is exempt from criticism. Anyone who takes to the public arena to share their views are fair game. “if you can’t take the heat….”
