Nick Paumgarten writes about the lives of elevators, and tells the story of Nicholas White, who was trapped in an elevator in New York City’s McGraw-Hill building for forty-one hours. Here is a condensed look at White’s ordeal, as captured by the building’s security cameras.
the video was kind of quirky so I couldn’t tell or maybe they wanted to keep it G Rated but was he able to hold it for 41 hours!
I guess having security cameras didn’t help his dilemma.
Better article here explaining the whole thing…

Big deal. I was stuck reading McGraw-Hill books for ten years of public school. That’s 10800 hours or more. You just try to get through one of their science books without wanting to blind yourself to escape. But if you do, be warned. They make them in braille too.
