‘I in the Sky’ puts your flip-book face in Times Square

A new interactive art project — “I in the Sky” — will open its photobooth doors on Thursday, inviting the general public to pose for 25-second videos that will be animated flip-book style and beamed onto a Times Square billboard atop the Conde Nast building. And it’s entirely free.

The project is the concept of artist Raul Vincent Enriquez, who is working with the Durst Organization (which owns the Conde Nast building,) and its non-profit arts organization, chashama.

To get your animated image in the gallery, you need to stop by the photobooth at chashama, 112 W. 44th St., map, on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday between noon and 8 p.m.
