In pictures, the bear could be seen between the supports of the bridge. Two cars driving by apparently scared the animal, and it jumped over the safety wall. The bear caught the ledge and was left dangling from a support beam.
Rescuers hung a net, tranquilized the bear, and pushed it over the edge. When the tranquilizer wore off, the bear woke up, and walked away unharmed.
