Since two Philadelphia women launched the mother of all Web sites last year, MomSpace.com has grown from a local start-up into a national resource.
Joani Reisen and Erica Rubach, both mothers of two, founded the Drexel Hill-based MomSpace.com on the idea that “Moms trust other moms,” Reisen said.
“The purpose of the space is to help busy moms,” she explained. “We’re the only site out there set up so that moms can meet other moms locally.”
Reisen said MomSpace was designed to address any and all questions mothers may have — from wondering where to have a birthday party to more serious issues dealing with children’s illness.
