I was on IMDB.com trying to find out if Elisabeth Shue was in a certain movie. Turns out I confused her with Kristy Swanson.

Here are two things I didn’t know about her that is listed on Elisabeth Shue’s trivia page:

• Has unusually large feet for her height (5’2″) – size 8 1/2.
• Named her son after her late brother, William, who died at the family’s summer home on Block Island, NY (off Long Island) when the tire swing he was on broke and he fell onto a broken tree branch. He was impaled and died while his siblings looked on helplessly.

Here is someting I didn’t know or realize about Kristy Swanson:

• Has co-starred with Charlie Sheen in 3 films: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986), Hot Shots! (1991), and The Chase (1994). I really don’t remember her in Ferris or Hot Shots!
