If you are a 12-year-old in Boston you’ve seen the Red Sox win the World Series three times, the Patriots win three Super Bowls, the Celtics win one NBA Finals title, and the Bruins win a Stanley Cup.

I went in for my annual physical last month and when I mentioned my family’s history of heart disease the doctor recommended an additional blood test that would be sent to Cleveland Heart Lab and stated that it’s covered by most insurance. Well, after numerous phone calls it turns out they are out of network and I’m being asked to cough up $800. My plan now is to look up the CPT codes and see what the Medicare rates and negotiate from there, at least that’s what Consumer Reports once suggested.
