Bag of Randomness

  • Today is my last workday as a consultant at Southwest Airlines.  I’m really grateful for my two years and four months there, it was the best time of my professional career.  It’s just full of great people and great leadership.  Even though I never officially became part of the Southwest family, something I always dreamed of doing, I’m just thankful I had an opportunity to hang around.
  • Winding down in a job you are leaving is an interesting feeling and experience.  So is starting a new job.  But for now, I’m going to try to enjoy the three day weekend . . . yup, I can’t start on Monday because they get Columbus Day off.
  • I blogged about GeedingManor possibly having foundation issues before.  If you recall, I can three companies come out.  Two performed and assessment and stated I didn’t’ have an issue, and one guy just flat out told me that I needed repairs fast.  Well, now it’s obvious, I’m in need of foundation repair.  Thank goodness I got a new job to help pay for this.  It’s time to get some quotes.
