Hey folks, I’m sorry I haven’t made any updates in a while. And a huge thank you to everyone who reached out in concern. To make a long story short, I was hospitalized on Thursday of last week and got discharged mid-afternoon on Monday. I was in unbearable pain.
I didn’t have my phone with me and had no access to the internet. That was an interesting experience. And oddly, I find I’m not using my phone as much even though I have it with me.
I feel so much better today, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Today, for the first time in months, I didn’t have to use my walker or cane to move about. I still have stiffness in my lower lumber area, walking a bit slow, and it’s difficult to make that transition from sitting to standing and bending over. But for the first time in a long time, I have hope that I will no longer consistently be in unbearable pain. I may finally be over the hump. I’m looking forward to playing catch with my kids again one day.
I hope I never have to ride in an ambulance again.
I don’t sleep well in hospitals. It’s great to sleep in your own bed after being gone for so long.
It looks like I’ll be going back to court. I pray we can settle things outside of court through our lawyers, and I can alleviate any concerns. I fear my blog will be used against me again and things will be taken out of context.
Ugh, medical and lawyer bills.
I have a new outlook on life and have found a certain peace in things that weren’t there before.
My new employer has been super gracious.
It’s a great feeling being reunited with pets.
I’m grateful for my church family. So many people in my small group stepped up to extend grace and make me feel that I was loved and things were being taken care of, like my two dogs.
I’m not sure what the future of the blog will be. I do want to keep it going and make daily posts, but there will have to be some hurdles to jump over first.
For all of you who stop by each day, I appreciate you so very much. I’m sorry I’ve let you down and hope to be more consistent in posting.

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Things have been a bit crazy around here.
I started to experience excruciating abdominal pains which were also hurting my back. There was no way I could drive myself to the hospital, so I called an ambulance That was a first for me. Surprisingly, the dogs behaved exceptionally well with all the paramedics in the house. I was released the following morning.
So much for trying to make it through September without medical insurance, I’m going to have to retroactively activate COBRA.
BunnyGeeding died last night. The kids took it hard. It costs $355 to have him cremated and placed in a pine box urn.

I’m sorry for the lack of posts this week. I thought I was on the mend, but then I started to experience some intense abdominal pain, which was hurting my back. The pain became so severe that I called an ambulance to the hospital where I was kept overnight. It’s a good thing I can retroactively activate COBRA.
Sooner or later, things have got to start looking up, right?
I was supposed to go to my small group meeting on Wednesday. But for the life of me, I can’t recall a single thing I did Wednesday evening.

This is how Jerry Jones plans to control the Cowboys from beyond the grave.
I’ve noticed new vehicles have fancy long-winding LED lights. Some of them make me think of Knight Rider, though that car had a red chasing light in the front center. These new vehicles have lights that accent the head and tail lights. Anyway, all that to say it’s a lot easier to spot new vehicles on the road.
right before the start of season opener of the NFL season, my son came in and wanted to play a board game. Time with my boy is more important than any football game. Then, he wanted to get ice cream, and well, that was hard to turn down.
I continue to be in favor of pronouns used in the workplace. I thought Chee Chee was a male, like the golfer, Chee Chee Rodriguez. Nope, female. Pronouns would have saved me from some embarassment.
