I bet the administration at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas was excited to hear they had an ebola patient to treat as it would be good publicity for the outstanding service they provide. But I’m pretty sure someone is going to lose their job now that we know the patient first came in with ebola symptoms and stated he was in Africa when asked.
All of this ebola talk makes me think of the movie Contagion, which I thought was pretty good. I thought that movie was pretty clever with its marketing when it used a billboard that was basically a petri dish that spelled out the movie’s name as the bacteria grew.
I had a very weird dream last night. Lunch time was almost over and I walked into a workplace cafeteria where they were deep frying live hogs in a big pool, kinda like how you cook lobsters except instead of boiling/steaming them, the hogs were deep fried in peanut oil. One hog got loose with really brown crispy skin and the workers and everybody else acted like it was no big deal. The hog ran head first into a wall and died.
