- At first BoyGeeding wasn’t too sure of Santa, but he warmed up to him. However, he didn’t have the courage to sit in his lap. Normally we just buy the lowest priced picture option and I scan the picture, but now they they will email you a digital copy at no extra cost.
- I’ve been aware of American Girl dolls, now I’m aware of their ridiculous cost after DaughterGeeding mentioned it to Santa and I did a little research.
- For the last two months I kept hearing things like we should make sure to catch as much Letterman as we can before he leaves at the end of the year. That bugged me because he’s never said when he was leaving, just sometime in 2015, and things heated up ever more after Colbert’s show would end in December. Yesterday, CBS finally released a statement saying his last show will be on May 20, which is on a Wednesday of all days. Oddly, Dave didn’t mention anything about it last night. Part of me thinks that Leno will be a guest when it comes down to his last two weeks.
- I’m a big Nick Offerman fan, so I’m looking forward to his Netflix special that will be available on Friday.

- Some dude made a very impressive tabletop using a door and 5,218 pennies. My favorite part – I left exactly ONE penny tails up, so I can drive my anal retentive guests crazy; they don’t feel settled until they find it.

Olivia Munn talks about her aunt and it makes me think of my mom
Olivia Munn is already in my highly unmaintained Half-Asian Hall of Fame. She was on Letterman last night and told a story about her aunt who has an “interesting Chinese-Vietnamese-Oklahoma accent.” Normally I get a little irritated when I hear people do an Asian accent because I feel they are trying to belittle a person, but I find it endearing the way she does it in this interview. I guess it’s because she’s talking about family and her particular culture. That may not make sense at all to you, and that’s okay, but it all reminded me of how my late mother with a bit of a Vietnamese- Texas accent talked and brought back a lot of good memories I haven’t thought about in a while.
The video should be cued up to start at the aunt story part . . .

Stuck in an Elevator
First item of business: Language Warning. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya.
I doubt anyone likes the idea of being suck in an elevator, but this guy got stuck in one with a guy who didn’t take the situation well. If you don’t have much time or only want to get the gist of things, just watch the first minute of the second video.
