- February Sweeps is here and it looks like all local news outlets will tackle the reason why our area is getting so many earthquakes. Newsflash – none of them have an answer but will tackle fracking. I’m sure they’ll do a few low hanging fruit segments like health code violations at restaurants.
- For Halloween next year I want WifeGeeding to dress as Katy Perry and me as one of her sharks.
- According to this website, the game that Kate Upton is endorsing generated $1,123,752 on Feb 2. I wouldn’t have guess they’d get that much in one day, and that’s just off of the iPhone.
- Rep. Aaron Schock’s (R-Ill.) has a Downton Abbey inspired congressional office.
- Here’s a great story of a Detroit man who makes $10.55 and hour. Despite having car issues, he never missed a day at work by walking about 23-miles (one way) to his employer, though sometimes he got a ride from friends. After the story was published the Internet stepped up and he now has a set of wheels to get to work.

Tom Brady’s Super Bowl Locker and the Movie Major League
I was surprised to see that Tom Brady had the small statue of the Hindu god Ganesha in his Super Bowl locker.
Per Wikipedia – Ganesha is widely revered as the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences and the deva of intellect and wisdom.
This reminds me of a great line from Major League, “Are you trying to say Jesus Christ can’t hit a curveball?”
