- One day I’m going to write about my trip to Vegas to see U2. For now, I’ll just tell you the stairs are the steepest you’ll find in the U.S. A lot of fans suffered vertigo just trying to get to our seats. One day, somebody is going to fall and the injury will be on the news, but you heard it from me first. In the meantime, check out some of this great drone footage.

- I forgot about Bono’s bicycle accident in Central Park which required surgery to fix his arm. In this photo, you can definitely see the scar.
https://twitter.com/MaryMadonna6/status/1736694061556228256 - I should probably be watching more Dallas Mavericks games. It seems every night they play and I get on Twitter there’s a lot of buzz of how well Luka is playing.
- Here’s something I’ve been pondering, chasing happiness brings more unhappiness, while accepting life as it is, provides serenity.
- Even though a penalty ruined this play, I thought this analysis of it was quite interesting. Watch the center, then pay attention to the nose guard right in front of him. Before the snap, you see the nose tackle to the left of the center. But, when the center puts his head down to get ready to long snap, the nose guard shifts to the right of the center. When the ball is hiked, the center blocks to his right because that’s where he last saw the nose guard. The nose guard now has a clear path to the punter.
The move Sam made was actually brilliant. The long snapper puts his head down and never looks up so Sam moves from the LS left to his right. At the snap, the LS blocks air to the left – no idea that Sam switched sides.
Too bad how it ended though. pic.twitter.com/XrrH0MkbD1

- I haven’t heard the saying “Sheep and cattle just don’t mix” in a long time. For the heck of it, I looked it up. I’m sure Gary Larson wasn’t the first to say it.
- “Sheep and cattle just don’t mix” is a line from the Far Side comic strip by Gary Larson. However, sheep and cattle can have biological needs that fit well together. In fact, some say that grazing sheep and cattle together can increase production from a pasture.
- Cows and sheep have different malfunctions for eating grass. Sheep chew grass low to the ground. Cows use their tongues to pull grass up. The sheep cope with short grass but the cows need long grass. Sheep can go in the field after cows.

- I’m a sucker when it comes to anything space related. Heck, I can even name several astronauts, and I bet most Americans can’t even name one. Mike Massimino is one of my favorites. Now, I’ve read and heard stuff about pooping in space before, but Mike goes into some interesting detail in this interview. But what I don’t understand is why is there a “back door” camera in the practice facility and not in the one up in space.
Former NASA astronaut @Astro_Mike doesn't have much info on UFOs, but he does know how to poop in space. pic.twitter.com/E7XceZkVRq

- One day I’m going to write about my trip to Vegas to see U2. Saturday was their last concert at the Sphere for this year. U2fandom went wild because at one point Bono decided to don a vest, which was nostalgic for some.
- If there was ever a good time for something to go wrong with the Sphere’s LED walls, I guess it would be the last show of the year. I’m curious how they fixed that thing. My guess is that everything is accessible from the back so the audience will never see a worker, or that it was a software and not a hardware issue.
- The Tennessee Titans wearing throwback Houston Oilers unis at home (along with Oilers written in both endzones and logo midfield) against the Houston Texans after stealing their team is a pretty aggressive move. But, Houston won the game, and playfully I think that means they get the rights back to all the Oilers stuff.

- My church usually selects a family with young children to walk down the center aisle to light an Advent candle, with a child usually doing the honor. This week it was a couple without any children who celebrated their 50th anniversary earlier this year. I thought that was sweet.
- You have no idea the level of respect I have for this woman.
- This has been a fun story to follow. Two Aggies fell in love, got married, and had a baby boy. Somehow, their son becomes a Texas Longhorn fan, the worst thing that a parent of an Aggie can imagine. When the final four football teams were announced for the playoffs, their parents filmed their son’s joyous reaction when Texas was mentioned and the clip went viral. One of the big wigs at Texas sends the kids, and as a joke, the parents, Longhorn gear. All in good fun, Aggie Mom and Dad wore the gear and took a funny family photo with their son. You can even see the father’s Aggie ring. I applaud these parents, who don’t take their school loyalty too seriously (unlike other families I know).

- Of course, it’s U2. - “I have a connection with U2 and the song because U2 wanted me to do all the background parts, not me and some people,” she tells podcast host Brian Teta, The View’s executive producer and showrunner. “I did all the background parts. We went in and we did the song.”
“It has a special meaning to me because it’s totally different from what everybody else did,” adds Love, 82. “It was U2’s ‘Baby (Christmas Please Come Home).’ That’s what made it so great.”
