- I got another email from AOL stating that my email was being used an an alternate email for a person I’ve never heard of and all I needed to do was click to confirm. Of course I didn’t click to confirm, but I can’t find anything on Google about other people experiencing this same issue. I’m not sure if’it’s a scam, and if it is, how it would work (other than the link being misleading, which it doesn’t seem to be per the code behind the link) or if it’s just another mistake.
