- DaughterGeeding’s taekwondo instructor called asked if he could put her in the next level class, even though she’s not old enough because she needs to be challenged more and is more mature than her other students. So despite being the only female in the group, and the shortest and youngest, she’s got enough moxie to make up for it. I thought she’d be intimidated, I would have been, be she was just fine.
- Driving back home from taekwondo class I noticed a gas station advertising two different gas prices, a cheaper one for cash and another for credit cards. There wasn’t any mention of debit card use. I can’t remember if I mentioned this from my Guadalupe Peak trip or not, but gas in El Paso was about fifty cents higher than what we filled up for in East Texas.
- ESPN Monday Night Football has an interesting new goal line camera that’s embedded in the pylon.
- The 49’ers looked very odd in those all black and red uniforms. And I was shocked that on the Vikings first three snaps, they didn’t hand it to Adrian Peterson one time. He missed almost all of last season so I’m sure he was itching to get the ball and make a statement.
- In his Eagles debut, DeMarco Murray only had nine yards on eight carries.
- There’s a commercial on The TICKET’s online stream about an opportunity to play Twister with Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders on the field of AT&T Stadium in conjunction with some sort of country music event.
- Only two months ago they were ranked behind Real Madrid – Cowboys are worth $4 Billion as estimated by Forbes making them the richest sports franchise in the world – I’d like to know how much Jerry makes from his non-Cowboys ventures, like his real estate investments, pizza franchises, and use of his medical equipment like the MRI I used at Valley Ranch.
- All presidential campaigns do what they can to make their candidate look or appear presidential. With Donald Trump, I always see his security detail around him and they resemble Secret Service agents, which is something I haven’t noticed from the other candidates. Perhaps they are there but just aren’t visible, but Trump’s guys are always within the frame of a camera as if he wants them to be seen. Trump also had a pretty decent size motorcade taking him from Love Field to downtown Dallas.

- Pictures of a Chicago church that was converted into a family home in which certain features like the stained glass windows, exposed beams, the bell tower, and brickwork were retained. I think it would be awkward to do married related things in such a building, even if it’s intentional use is no longer a part of the structure.
