Yesterday I referenced my favorite version of “Over The Rainbow” and my friend Brent chimed in with his favorite by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole. His version made me think of the picture above, and it’s also my way of welcoming LiberallyLean back to blogging.
I’ve mentioned my love for the late Eva Cassidy’s singing before. You should give her version of “Fields of Gold” and “Time After Time“a try, you won’t regret it. I dare say her covers are better than the original. That voice, it’s so hypnotically and hauntingly beautiful.
One of my neighbors is traveling to Alberqurque to attend his grandmother’s funeral. He’s not the type to stretch the truth, but he stated his uncle is a lawyer in Alberqurque and his house was rented out to be included in an episode of ‘Breaking Bad’. He couldn’t tell me what episode, just that the interior was blue, actually I think he said they painted it blue, and his uncle was upset once he found out it was going to be part of a drug bust.
While watching last night’s season premiere of ‘The Big Bang Theory’ there was a promo for ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ and it referenced his guest Stephen Curry and tomorrow’s guest Donald Trump. Ted Cruz, who appeared after Curry, didn’t get a mention, so I know the Trump promo must have peeved him.
A dentist took the time to examine the teeth of the current president and Democratic presidential candidates and commented on which teeth are real. It looks like Obama is the only one that’s all natural.
