Paintings inspired by video-game scenes

The 1 painting every day blog started on may 8th 2005. Here you will find a new oil painting which I have finished every day. For this painting blog I intend on creating imagery from digital mediums, although occasionally I do more classical imagery. All paintings are for sale, email the title and date of the painting you are interested in, and I ll let you know the price. Smaller paintings begin at 100 dollars US. I hope to inspire others to do a painting a day.”

Won’t You Be My Neighbor?

“In 1969 the US Senate had a hearing on funding the newly developed Corporation for Public Broadcasting. The proposed endowment was $20 million, but President Nixon wanted it cut in half because of the spending going on in the Vietnam War. This is an video clip of the exchange between Mr. Rogers and Senator Pastore, head of the hearing. Senator Pastore starts out very abrasive and by the time Mr. Rogers is done talking, Senator Pastore’s inner child has heard Mr. Rogers and agreed with him. Enjoy.”
