INDIANAPOLIS – A couple sat by their daughter’s hospital bedside for weeks after an auto accident until she came out of a coma and they realized she was not their daughter after all, but another blond-haired young woman injured in the wreck. Their own daughter, it turned out, was dead and buried.
Woman Hit By Lightning While Praying
DAPHNE, Ala. — Worried about the safety of her family during a stormy Memorial Day trip to the beach, Clara Jean Brown stood in her kitchen and prayed for their safe return as a strong thunderstorm rumbled through Baldwin County, Alabama.Â
But while she prayed, lightning suddenly exploded, blowing through the linoleum and leaving a blackened area on the concrete. Brown wound up on the floor, dazed and disoriented by the blast but otherwise uninjured.Â
She said ‘Amen’ and the room was engulfed in a huge ball of fire. The 65-year-old Brown said she is blessed to be alive.
SWARM
Swarm shows you what websites people are visiting, right now.
Swarm is a graphical map of hundreds of websites, all connecting to each other. It updates itself every second with where people are going and coming from. As sites become more popular, they move towards the center of the swarm and grow larger. Conversely, sites that lose traffic move away from the center and grow smaller.
Website traffic is symbolized with thin lines. Each time you see a line appear, it means someone has moved from one site to the other. You can gauge how many people are swarming around based on the number of lines.

Game Show Marathon
For some reason the remote was directed to CBS for Game Show Marathon. In short, celebrities play gameshows such as The Price is Right, Press Your Luck, Let’s Make A Deal, Card Sharks, and Family Feud all in the name of charity. I thought this was a pretty good idea, until I found out Ricki Lake is hosting all the shows.
Seriously, who else but Bob Barker can host The Price is Right? It’s not like the show is off the air. As long as the man is still alive and in good health, there is no reason why he shouldn’t be hosting The Price is Right. That’s like having Hugh Hefner perform Easter Mass at St Peter’s Basilica. It’s just an absurd idea.
One side note:
I never watched Paige Davis on Trading Spaces, so I really know nothing about her; but she sure acted like a little wild child.
