Didn’t Congress Vote Down a Minimum Wage Incease A Little While Back?
WASHINGTON – House Republican leaders, giving in to political reality, plan a vote to raise the $5.15 minimum wage before leaving Washington this weekend for a five-week recess.
About time. I can’t imagine what it would be like being a college student, working part time, and paying for gas that is close to $3 a gallon. Better yet, I can’t imagine getting paid minimum wage and supporting a family.
