WifeGeeding Moment

WifeGeeding and I were eating at IHOP this evening when an elderly couple walked in, and instantly WifeGeeding is racking her brain trying to figure out how does she know this older gentleman.  Curiosity was killing the cat so she eventually went to the elderly couple’s table, introduced herself, and asked if they have ever crossed paths.  She asked if they met in church, whether a child or grandchild attended her school, if he is from her home town, and other similar questions.

Turns out he’s the greater at our neighborhood Wal-Mart.

Bear Kills Moose

Gas station owner told to raise prices

MERRILL, Wis. – A service station that offered discounted gas to senior citizens and people supporting youth sports has been ordered by the state to raise its prices.

Center City BP owner Raj Bhandari has been offering senior citizens a 2 cent per gallon price break and discount cards that let sports boosters pay 3 cents less per gallon.

But the state Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection says those deals violate Wisconsin’s Unfair Sales Act, which requires stations to sell gas for about 9.2 percent more than the wholesale price.

Wikipedia: Satellite map images with missing or unclear data

A number of locations on many free, publicly-viewable satellite map services, including Google Maps, have missing, incomplete, or unclear map data. In some cases, these regions have been intentionally digitally obscured or blurred. This deliberate blurring of critical sites is in contrast to portions of Google Maps where only low resolution photographs are available, or where atmospheric or photographic conditions resulted in reduced resolution or clarity.
