Let’s talk about Hooters

hgirls.jpgOne of my coworkers just got back from a long road trip in which she and her husband ate at a Hooters for the first time in Little Rock, Arkansas.  They just wanted to see ‘what all the talk was about’.

She said two of the waitresses working the night they went were pregnant.  I’m sure that was a tad bit deflating for a lot of the men who go there for a little eye-candy to be served by a pregnant waitress.  In case you are wondering, they didn’t have to wear the ‘traditional uniform’.

Also, I feel uncomfortable typing “hooters” while I’m at work.

I don’t know much about Ron Paul

But the blogging world loves this guy. Everyday I read something new about this guy in my little blogging world.

I finally got to hear him speak and actually see what he looks like since he was on the Daily Show last night.

Quite an intriguing presidential candidate.  I wish more people would speak from the heart. It would be interesting to see him get the GOP nod, but I think he doesn’t have the financial resources and everyone is probably tired of a Texan ruining running things.

We need more ‘attacks on American soil’ so people appreciate Bush

This statement is a bit unsettling from the new head of the Arkansas GOP:

At the end of the day, I believe fully the president is doing the right thing, and I think all we need is some attacks on American soil like we had on [Sept. 11, 2001],” Milligan said to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, “and the naysayers will come around very quickly to appreciate not only the commitment for President Bush, but the sacrifice that has been made by men and women to protect this country.”

Milligan, who was elected as the new chair of the Arkansas Republican Party just two weeks ago, also told the newspaper that he is “150 percent” behind Bush in the war in Iraq.
