I built a 535 ft. Slip ‘n Slide
The whole thing started when my father, my two best friends, and myself were drinking beer out on the back porch of my father’s place. About a 9 Killian’s into the conversation, we decided to build a slip and slide for a party we wanted to throw. It was originally supposed to be a 24×48 foot tarp on the side of the hill.
This is what we ended up with. Pictures start with construction.

The Love of Jesus, through cookies
Home-baked cookies are distributed liberally to the residents during the weekend. These cookies are cookies are a tangible expression of Christian love and an indication of God’s overflowing love for a group of people who seldom encounter either in the course of their daily lives. We can’t explain the value of these home-baked, prayed over cookies to this ministry. Your loving sacrifice in baking the cookies will provide the “bread” that will shine in the light of God’s grace. A light that will shine throughout the facility.Â
Remember the key ingredient:
Prayer- Pray individually or as a family over the ingredients before and during mixing. Pray over the cookies as you drop them onto the cookie sheet and bake them. Ask God to use your cookies as a source of His love to shine on the prisoners and staff on the Kairos weekend. Pray that each cookie brings the inmate, officer, or warden who eats it closer to God. We want every person to become part of the Family of God.
Chicken Suits
The idea for suiting a chicken came in a dream. A dream of a chicken that was covered with hair instead of feathers. Well, you can’t take a chicken’s feathers off and then glue hair on it – can you? This is how the chickenssuit came about.
The inventors of the chickenssuit, this ingenious “piece of freedom“, truly believe that there is a real need for this world to suit its chickens. We talk from experience. Chickenssuit has made our lives richer.
