According to the ESA, 38% of American videogame players and 48% of gaming parents are women. In other countries such as Korea, statistics show as much as 69.5% of women are playing video games. Even so, women’s interests continue to be grossly under-represented, leaving women as single largest untapped market segment in the gaming industry.

Our mission is fourfold: first, to provide a fun, dynamic online gaming site that caters to the interests and needs of different types of women gamers. To achieve the widest possible appeal . . . . .

Music From the Monster Movies 1950-1969

In the 50’s & 60’s a recurring theme in a lot of monster movies was music…A lot of movies also had quirky, swingin’, jazzy or rockin’ themes or credits. Many of these movies have been written about extensively on the internet, we just thought it would be fun to get it all in one place where we concentrate on the music alone…

From the Earth to the Moon

I just started to watch this mini-series and so far it’s amazing.

But here’s a thought for you.

The Wright Brothers first flight was on December 17, 1903.

Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon on July 20, 1969.

That’s just a difference of 66 years.  It’s amazing that so much advancement has happened in such a short time frame.  A person could have been alive and watched both the first flight and man landing on the moon in his or her lifetime.

The last time man was on the moon was December 11, 1972.  From a personal point of view, I find it interesting man hasn’t been to the moon in my lifetime.
