- Someone who shall not be named likes to dress up OtherDogGeedingII. It would be funny if either I or BoyGeeding could find a matching outfit.
- To answer a question from yesterday – Yes, WifeGeeding has been to George’s in Waco but no, she has never had the Big O, she claims.
- Sears did an odd thing, they stated they were going to report earnings before the market opened on Thursday but missed its own deadline and reported after the closing bell instead. No surprise, they reported yet another huge loss in the second quarter — $508 million, about twice as much as it lost a year earlier.

- When a hurricane dominates the news, I start to wonder what important news is being overlooked because reporters are distracted doing segments in the rain and wind.
Live Hurricane Footage
Note: The audio is pretty loud so you may want to lower the volume on your speakers.
This ocean cam is affixed to the Frying Pan Tower, 34 miles off the coast of Cape Fear, North Carolina. The tower was built in the 1960s to warn ships of the shallow waters nearby. Though GPS navigation technology means this tower is no longer used for its original purpose, it’s an important ecosystem for marine wildlife (check out the underwater shark cam to see what we mean) and provides a beautiful view of the sun rising and setting over the Atlantic Ocean.
Windy.com also provides some cool interactive data and shows you the location of the cam in relation to the hurricane. This is from the time of this posting.
Bag of Randomness for Thursday, September 13, 2018
- I miss the drama Jerry Jones used to bring when he went to the sidelines during the game. I wonder why he stopped. I think the last time he did that was during the Campo era.
- With the hurricane hitting the Southeast, be prepared for fake pictures of sharks swimming through flooded streets. You see those kinda pics start to circulate with every major hurricane.

- It’s my understanding Ted Cruz’s campaign has plenty of funds, so I’m surprised (though not complaining) at the lack of Ted Cruz television commercials. I haven’t seen a single one. I’m guessing the public will a plethora of them starting in October. Speaking of campaign funds, Beto O’Rourke was in New York for an appearance on Colbert’s show but also hosted a fundraiser in the city. Offhand, I’m not a big fan of out-of-state dollars influencing a state election.

Toy Story 3 IRL Trailer
For way too many years now, my brother and I (with the support of our awesome family and friends) have been working on a shot-for-shot recreation of Toy Story 3. This project has been an incredible undertaking, and we’ve made the decision to have this complete by 2019. At this time, I’m not quite sure what a release will look like, but I do know that this has to be done by next year. We’re both pursuing college and full-time careers right now, and it’s time to wrap this side-project up.
